Stimulating Acupuncture Points
Did you know that stimulation of pressure receptors (acupuncture points) releases neurotransmitters oxytocin (also a hormone), dopamine, and serotonin.
This stimulation also reduces stress hormone cortisol and its precursor hormone ACTH (adrenocorticotropic), increases vagal nerve actions(parasympathetic or relaxation), helps neuroplasticity in body’s sensory organs, and restores internal organ functioning?
All this helps us to experience contentment, comfort, joy, peace, and happiness!
What a God we have! He created all of this for you to access and we access it by using EFT tapping!

Being Too Busy and Tapping
Why do we keep ourselves so busy? And why do we teach our children to do the same?
Check out the article below.
This is the "stress" that plays underneath in our unconscious mind, creating havoc and busy habits that run our neurotransmitters.
Once the habit is formed, and later the neurotransmitter levels drop even for just a few minutes, we become depressed, antsy, crabby, and anxious.
There must be a happy medium!
Good news is EFT can reset these habits, changing our circadian rhythms to something much more healthy!
Remember, EFT is NOT a substitute for good medical care, so please call your own personal physician if you need that type of help!

EFT & Cellular Receptors
What if?
We have 50 to 100 trillion cells in our bodies and each cell has 50,000 to 100,000 cellular receptors on it (I can't even imagine how tiny those are!).
Many cellular receptors are monogamous, taking in only one nutrient. There are thousands of peptides, hormones, and neurotransmitters alone, let alone vitamins, minerals, and all the various micro nutrients the scientist have yet to find.
So, what happens when these cellular receptors get clogged up with emotional gunk? Nothing! They become useless, no longer functioning or taking in essential nutrients for the cell to function properly and stay healthy.
I'm a great supporter of complementary medicine, obviously, and supplements often are a part of that, but if we take a ton of a supplement, but the receptor is blocked, it won't help us at all.
I think cellular receptors are a part of why EFT works so well.
Tap, lose your emotional baggage, and then supplement your body, feeding it what it needs to get healthy again.
And then......what about the idea of transmutation? If the receptor is clogged, it has to interfere with the
chemical stuff going on inside the cell.
Is this why our disease DNA get turned on? Epigenetics comes into play here and now.
I suspect this could be one of the very simplest ideas of why EFT works physiologically.

Relaxation and EFT
We all know our cortisol levels are much too high. We don't have enough time in the day to sit down and clear our minds. Life is just plain hectic.
Try this technique:
Teach yourself to relax your tongue on the floor of your mouth as much of the day as you possibly can.
Why? You engage the vagal nerve system, parasympathetic part of your autonomic nervous system, the part of your nervous system that relaxes you.
The sympathetic nervous system (SNS) revs you up to make you move, think, and do. The parasympathetic nervous system (PNS) relaxes you, quiets you down, allowing your internal batteries to recharge.
All of this is mixed up with specific neurochemicals, each doing their own thing, in attempt to keep you healthy.
You must relax to keep yourself healthy. Your body cannot repair itself when the SNS is on full speed ahead.
Relaxing your tongue on the floor of your mouth engages the PNS.
If you get yourself into a tight spot, relax your tongue. This signals your PNS that you have it all under control. It puts the blood back into the pre-frontal cortex where you do your thinking, instead of having that blood in your large muscle groups because your SNS thinks you must defend yourself.
Give it a try. It's hard to get angry with your tongue on the floor of your mouth!
And then, if you can, tap on your favorite tapping spot with your tongue relaxed.

Blessings!
