Emotional Pain Sticks to US
It’s indeed a bit like treating the symptoms vs. treating the cause.
The “symptoms” are our emotional angst and possibly physical issues.
The underlying “cause” (disease) is our trauma, big stuff or lots of little stuff, hurtful memories, and disturbing events in our life.
Those emotional “causes” stick around in our cells where our unconscious mind puts them, completely unknown to us. Our cells can be equated to a house attic, storage unit, old barn loft, etc. We stuff items in any or all of those places, forgetting about them, until sometime possible catastrophic happens and NOW we have to deal with the stored up junk.
Emotionally it’s the same thing. Bad stuff happens, we “get over it” (time doesn’t heal all wounds, sorry, folks!), move on and THEN our body starts yelling and our emotions begin to flare, forcing us NOW to deal with the past - all those things we stuffed in our emotional attic, barn, and storage unit.
Tapping BEFORE we accumulate all that junk keeps the “storage” unit of our unconscious mind clear, clean, and uncluttered!
Tap, tap, tap!

Personal and Family Epigenetics Running Our Present Lives
Here is an interesting article that explains the new field of epigenetics.
What often is running both our emotional and physical health is our own personal past. There truly is still more affecting us than we ever envisioned decades ago!
As mind and brain research continues to unfold, scientists are only just beginning to understand that experiences and memories of our forefathers and foremothers are also running our personal biology.
I'm not talking about "past lives" or "reincarnation", so please don't confuse epigenetics with that topic!
God wrapped up so very much in the human body when He created us. Part of that experiential learning is bound up in the new science field of epigenetics. In order to survive life, all species, including humans, have to learn and REMEMBER what they experienced so as not to repeat that possibly dangerous behavior.
Often these behaviors were repeated so often and are so hardwired into our subconscious memory! God created this as a good thing! However, with sin entering the world, it can often go awry.
When we remember not only the incident but all the accompanying emotional pain and fallout from something horrific, this piece of the learning also gets stuffed into our body's cells. The cells remember the pain which can then get triggered when we sense a danger that is closely akin to what happened in the past.
So, we not only remember the incident as a safety valve to protect us, we remember the emotional pain to reinforce that learning.
Often this is subconscious! We don't know we have inherited great, great grandma's issues, but we have and we can.
We have lots to tap about! Tapping can make a huge dent in this ancestor stuff. And when we clear it using EFT and/or Matrix Reimprinting (or other somatic techniques), often our physical issues also heal once the body's cells release the pain they have been holding.
God is amazing! He thought of it all! We truly are blessed!

Dr. Joe Dispenza Discussing Physiology of EFT
My take-away on this wonderful video interview with Dr. Joe Dispenza: This explains WHY tapping on negative past events is the KEY to change. It's all physiology!
We tap on the emotions that keep us stuck to changing the future.
Events are lodged in implicit memories (there is something called explicit memories, too) where the events are STORED in our subconscious mind & our life is run from there.
EFT produces the alpha/theta brains waves, as it does in meditation. This is where we heal and CHANGE.
In reality past events are irrelevant (they are PAST), but it's the emotions attached to them that keep us stuck. So past events are what we tap on because they are the VEHICLE to get us to the feelings that need changed.
"Dark Night of the Soul" is God allowing those circumstances and giving us an opportunity to change.
Emotions ARE the end product of life events, thus one of the EFT techniques is "future tapping." At about 42 minutes, Joe plows into meditation. We use EFT not meditation (you can if you choose to use that), but meditation is a similar process to tapping because we are PAYING ATTENTION to thoughts and body feelings (this is mindfulness).
Life change happens when we MAKE the effort to actually tap. Not thinking about tapping or consider tapping, but tapping! This is probably the "difficult" part of the EFT tapping process - doing it! Once you have a tapping habit instilled, it does pretty much become effortless!
In this interview, insert God for Joe's "universe" and think Biblically as Dispenza talks!
Science seems to prove WHY EFT actually works! Thank you, Lord Jesus, for this opportunity to change our life to more reflect You and who You want us to be.
Remember please! EFT is not a substitute for good medical care, so please consult your own personal physician when you need medical or psychological help!

Fight, Flight and Freeze Response and Tapping
I've had questions asking to explain what the freeze response is, so I will answer that question here:
Freeze response is a direct reaction to abuse or trauma, if we don't activate fight or flight. We have no real control over which mechanism the subconscious mind (SC) chooses. These responses occur in fractions of seconds. Which of the 3 the SC chooses is predicated on what other abuse, including our parental attachment, or lack of, or the trauma we have already endured years ago. When life threatening danger comes our way, we do one of 3 things - we fight, we run, or we freeze (neither running or punching to get us out of the dangerous situation). It is actually healthier to fight or to run, as we release/blow off/negate the built-up "energy" (hormones & neurochemicals) in our nervous system. Animals (and humans) shake after experiencing a life-threatening event. The shaking expends the reaction in that moment, blowing off those unwanted chemicals, so the horrific experience isn't trapped (freeze response) in the body to cause us to relive the trauma over and over again for decades. Never STOP a shaking person. Let them shake!
Freeze is the part of our inborn safety mechanism where the emotional pain gets stuck in our nervous system where it rattles around, remaining active, triggering us whenever some sensory input reminds of us of the original abuse or trauma. When wild animals freeze, think "playing possum", they can sometimes avoid being killed because the predator looses interest in "dead" prey. We humans do our own version of the freeze mechanism for the exact same reason. We hope the human predator forgets we are present!
While in the Freeze response we are flooded with endorphins (natural anesthetic), as this article states, so that if we are wounded (or eaten for animals) the pain is numbed. That is why people with horrible wounds can jump up and run out of danger's way or save another human. The endorphins have numbed the excruciating pain in the moment. Later they collapse, screaming, when the endorphins wear off.
Eventually, the way God created our bodies, once the immediate, short-term danger is past, the body "recovers", resuming the sympathetic response (SNS) where we will feel hungry, breathing normalizes, heart rate slows, desire for sex returns, thinking processes come back on-line (this is the same response kids with "test anxiety" have & it's why they cannot "think" during a test). Short-term stress in humans is fine; it is long-term on-going hidden chronic stress in us that eventually causes diseases.
Slower parasympathetic (PNS) is where we want to live. We don't need on-going trauma memories, as that eventually is going to cause our physical bodies to get sick. We need to use tapping to process the abuse and traumas we have endured. It's all about HOW our hormones react, so we can stay physically (and emotionally) healthy.
Yes, the bottom line is your SC thinks you are still in the on-going trauma and abuse, if you haven't processed by tapping (or other somatic technique) the abuse or trauma you have endured. The SC has no sense of time. SC "lives" in the present tense. So, any of us with an abuse/trauma background who hasn't yet used a technique to "inform" the SC to let the negative stuff go, allowing forgiveness to replace the pain, is constantly still right now reliving that abuse in the present day as if it just now occurred. You may not feel consciously like you are , but your SC is holding the emotional pain for you in the background of your mind, and it continually runs that abuse "movie" over and over again 24/7/365.
Our behaviors and reactions occur because of and due to our emotional pain being held by the SC. Our SC mind hides our abuse memories from our conscious mind to keep us functioning day to day. But the trauma is still there. Eventually, we lose control and we don't function well!
We are still in CONSTANT freeze until we tap and process whatever has happened to us. Bottom line is the PNS will take care of itself, if we have tapped and calmed our responses to the negative things that has happened to us.
Chapter 2 of the original EFT for Christians explains this process in detail, as does the physiology chapter in the EFT for Christians, Tapping in Peace & Joy, chapters 2 & 3.
Tapping is one of the emotional tools to help regulate our emotional pain. Consider giving it a try.
Remember, EFT is not a substitute for medical help, so please consult your own personal physician when physical or emotional help is needed.

Love and Forgiveness Wrapped up in EFT
I have stated repeatedly
that EFT always, always goes to forgiveness (when practiced effectively and
frequently).
Forgiveness is the
pardoning others unconditionally for offenses done to us, either real or
perceived. Forgiveness is the highest form of unconditional love. It is exactly what Jesus gave us when He went
to the Cross at Calvary in our stead (John 3:16). He restores us into the eternal friendship
circle with the Trinity.
Proverbs 17:9 (TPT) says
it this way, “Love overlooks the mistakes of others,
but dwelling on the
failures of others devastates friendships.”
As I was recently reading
1 Corinthians 13 in my new Passion
Translation I was struck at how some of these verses read in comparison to
other older translations.
Verses 4 through 8a read
like this: “Love is large and incredibly patient. Love is
gentle and consistently kind to all. It refuses to be jealous when
blessing comes to someone else. Love does not brag about one’s achievements
nor inflate its own importance. Love does not traffic in shame and
disrespect, nor selfishly seek its own honor. Love is not easily irritated or
quick to take offense. Love joyfully celebrates honesty and finds no
delight in what is wrong. Love is a safe place of shelter, for it never
stops believing the best for others. Love never takes failure as defeat, for it
never gives up. Love never stops loving.”
These verses sound so much more down to earth than the usual
translations that I read. To me it strikes more solidly at the heart of the
practical approach and meaning of what forgiveness and love actually look like,
as one ponders HOW to actually carry them out.
However, the verse that
really stuck out in 1 Corinthians 13 to me was verse 11 that says in TPT, “When
I was a child, I spoke about childish matters, for I saw things like a child
and reasoned like a child. But the day came when I matured, and I set aside my
childish ways.” While this reads similarly to the NIV version, here is the part
that highlighted this verse for me.
The NIV verse says, “When I became a man, I
put the ways of childhood behind me.” That is all well and good, but simply
become mature in age alone doesn’t always, or even usually, get us to spiritual
maturity.
When we have childhood trauma there are many
things going on in our bodies, minds, souls, and our spirit. Some beliefs we
are aware of, other things we have no idea even exist. Because God implanted in
us at birth the ability for our subconscious mind to conveniently “forget” our
deep emotional pain, we may never come to that adult love and forgiveness place
we where we want to be.
In that “forgetting” God instilled a mechanism that affords us safety because the memories may be too harsh, damaging, disquieting, etc. He knew when He created us that sin would enter the world through Adam and Eve. He knew sinful humans would do unspeakable things to each other. These were things that would literally kill us if we were able to remember them. Witnessing these inexpressible moments or having the same unimaginable situations happen to us personally can often cause a break in our psyche. We simply cannot handle emotionally what has happened, so our mind breaks off those pieces of memory and hides them from us.
I’ve written extensively about how those
hidden unbelievable memories often cause a state of chronic physical stress
which then leads to diseases. Our bodies cannot handle long term lingering
stressful memories. Remember, everything we have ever seen or heard or experienced
is retained within our subconscious mind. It is all stored there and running as
an active, present day memory whether we consciously remember it or not.
Verse 11 talks about, “setting aside my
childish ways” but what exactly might that mean in real life? Does it mean you
suddenly use good table manners? Or could it mean you use proper speech and
grammar? Perhaps you realize that carousing all weekends in a bar, drinking
your way until dawn doesn’t make Monday morning work out so well? This list is
endless as regards habits we no longer do as we age.
I’m thinking of a different spin on verse 11.
As we mature in both age and behavior, how do we now look back decades on old
memories and loosen old hurtful memories, allowing them to move toward
forgiveness and loving the perpetrator.
How is that actually done? Frankly, neither
Scripture nor too many preachers that I have heard seem to be able to tell us
precisely HOW to accomplish this.
Often the priest or pastor simply espouses that we should forgive because Christ Himself forgave us.
Great idea, pastor, but you don’t understand
the level of pain, hurt, hate, and rage I feel toward that person who did that
to me! Give me a tool to do that forgiving and loving you talk about!
God has now given us that tool. It is too bad
not many pastors know about this technique just yet, but a time will come when
all will know about Emotional Freedom Techniques.
My question to you is this: What have you done
with your anger, resentment, rage, and hatred about incidents and things that
happened to you over the past decades?
Do they still run your life? Do you think
about them daily, or multiple times a day? Do you make future life decisions
based on how those early memories play in your mind? Do you fear the future
because of the past?
1 John 4:18 tells us perfect love casts out
fear. Love and fear cannot co-exist. Either one is in control or the other is.
In your life which reigns supreme?
Love is bound up in forgiveness. When
forgiveness comes to the forefront, fear no longer stand.
I’ve personally had many emotional memories to
tap about over the past decade, so my challenge to you is: Are you ready to be that mature Christian
Apostle Paul talks about in 1 Corinthians 13? Are you ready to put aside your
childish insecurities and fears? Are you ready to meet those old memories
head-on, neutralizing their emotional content so you can love others
unconditionally thereby freeing yourself from the chronic physical and
emotional stress.
God understood that forgiveness is maturity in
Christ that exhibits the Fruit of the Spirit in everyday living is NOT for the person you forgive. It is for YOU! You personally are the
one who benefits. The other person may never know you have forgiven them.
When we forgive, God often releases the
physical aspects we’ve held for years in our bodies around the unforgiveness.
This is often our physical healing in addition to our emotional and spiritual
healing.
If you are ready to completely heal,
experiencing God’s love, joy, and peace in your life, consider learning to tap.
It’s easy to learn. It’s a self-help tool once
you master its methodology. And it is for us Christians to use because it is
all based in God’s created healing physiology.

Are You Ready to Heal? Here's What is Going on in Your Brain!
I want to highlight out a few important points: Please read the article. It explains a lot about why you feel the way you do. It's not your fault, but it is your responsibility to do something about it!
1) "Only a state of non hyper-arousal allows activation of the prefrontal cortex needed for learning and problem solving."
Cathy Corbett Reiling says this about every post she makes! Tapping quiets the body and mind. Only when your mind and body are QUIET can you process your emotional issues. Period.
2) "When those hormones reach a high level, they suppress the activity of the hippocampus and it loses its ability to function. Information that would make it possible to differentiate between a real and imagined threat never reaches the cortex and a rational evaluation of the information isn't possible (Rothschild, 2004)."
I've said this a thousand times. We need tapping because our subconscious mind (SC) has NO concept of time (kinda like God - not saying our mind is God b/c it isn't but it is made in His image, like the rest of us!), so our old emotional stuff isn't truly IN the past tense UNTIL we tap and put it there! This is the work of sanctification. Salvation is FREE, but our work here on earth (sanctification) is to actively DO something to become more like our Savior. Tapping will accomplish that if you do it well and thoroughly!
3) "If a particular stimulus is misinterpreted as a threat, this leads to immediate fight/flight/freeze responses (to non-threatening stimuli). This causes this system to respond to minor irritations in a totalistic manner (Streeck-Fischer & van der Kolk, 2000)."
When we have had trauma, particularly early childhood trauma, we ALWAYS misinterpret everything! We've been programmed to do that. Repetition of hard emotional events ARE learned just like learning your multiplication tables in 3rd grade!! Over and over events are repeated, until trauma is implanted so solidly in our SC we misinterpret minor things in a major way - automatically. We fly OFF the handle at the slightest provocation (and then feel remorseful, sad, guilty, etc. afterwards)!
4) "Research shows that environments of extreme stress lead to increased cortisol levels (Murray-Close, Han, Cicchetti, Crick, & Rogosch, 2008) which can lead to decreased hippocampal volume. Decreased hippocampal volume has been associated with poorer declarative memory which places adults at greater risk of developing PTSD-like symptoms, and is closely correlated with experiences of depression and physical inflammations (Danese, Pariante, Caspi, Taylor & Poulton, 2006)"
Hippocampus, which is our SC's "historian", can go off-line when abuse happens in early childhood. We remember NOTHING - all our memories, both good and bad, are buried. It's a protective mechanism.
Hippocampus shrinks about 35%+ in PTSD like trauma.
Sadly, our SC knows the emotional pain is still all there and runs our life around it. We become sick, depressed feeling, anxious feeling, crabby, act out, etc. and we cannot figure out why we (or our children) do these things.
We do them because our emotional pain has never been dealt with completely. Our body, mind, and soul are screaming for help. We need to tap. We probably should hire a EFT Practitioner to help us process our emotional stuff. We need emotional help and God has created tapping to do just that!
5) "Through this chain of events, violence and abuse pass from generation to generation (Teicher, 2002)."
I've never really said what I am going to say here this pointedly, except in personal conversations. And I may make some people angry when I say this.
Emotional issues are running YOUR life and they WILL run your children's life, too. This stuff IS generational. It is what Exodus 34:7 & Numbers 14:18 say. Your emotional issue may NOT be your fault, but the pain will continue for 3-4 generations. We see it all the time. Scientific research is proving this fact.
Will the buck stop with you? Are you willing to do the work necessary so that your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren will be FREE to live their lives as our Lord intended in His joy, peace, and freedom?
Are you?

Epigenetics and Tapping
Epigenetics is simply defined as the study of biological processes that will switch disease genes on and off. To say this simply – we only have less than 15% of our genetic material as completely predetermined. This might include height, hair color, shape of our nose, but our disease future is not only in God’s hands, but it is also up to our free will!
Because we know that emotionally negative life events do turn on disease genes, it is our choice to do the emotional work to keep these genes turned off, or perhaps to reverse any genes that have already turned on (allow God to heal us). This statement is powerful! God has granted us dominion over the earth (Genesis), but it also appears He has granted us more dominion over our own body than ever before thought!
Let me state this one more time. Highly emotionally charged life memories can allow disease genes, such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, neurological problems, such as MS and ALS, etc. to “manifest” in our body. Conversely, it appears that negating and neutralizing those same highly charged events and the perceptions they left us with will do the opposite – keep disease, both chronic and acute, genes turned off, keeping us in good or better health. Research routinely continues to show us how powerfully important our environmental impact is to us.
Essentially anything we come into contact with including what we eat, where we live, who we grew up with, how we sleep and exercise, how we were treated by others, our educational and economic levels, sights, sounds, and smells in our everyday life shifts and changes our internal cellular chemistry.
Epigenetics, a relatively new science, has proven that cells are respond constantly to their environment. Each cell has internal and external antennae that continuously scan our body/mind and our habitat for clues it needs to maintain homeostasis. Our SC wants total stability; it hates change, so it acts like a chemist adding in a dollop of this neurotransmitter, or subtracting a dollop of that hormone based on what our conscious mind would consider insignificant environmental clues just to keep our body stable. Our genes respond situation by situation to all outside and inside thoughts, reactions, and situations, all of which are determined by our emotional perception to what is going on.
So, what does this mean to you and me? We have a greater control over our genetic “destiny” than ever imagined. The field of epigenetics has made it quite clear that our life beliefs and our perceptions about life events deeply affect our physical health. Those perceptions and beliefs literally turn disease genes on or keep them off.
Dr. Bruce Lipton, a cellular biologist, has written an astounding book, albeit from a new age perspective, about this topic. Dr. Lipton’s research seems to prove we can move past our internal and external environmental stressors and move toward better health and well-being by down-regulating the impact of negative emotional beliefs and memories which then down-regulate our disease genes.
If you want to read further on this topic, pick up a copy of his book Biology of Belief. Another excellent book on this topic, another book that will amaze you, is Dawson Church’s Genie in Your Genes. I recommend both as good educational reading."

Tapping Postively Doesn't Work
"Tapping negatively is heavy-duty work. We have heard for decades to repeat positive affirmations about ourselves and situations around us. Dr. Gabor Mate explains why positive affirmations simply don’t work:
As Dr. Michael Kerr points out, 'compulsive optimism is one of the ways we bind our anxiety to avoid confronting it. That form of positive thinking is the coping mechanism of the hurt child. The adult who remains hurt without being aware of it makes this residual defence of the hurt into a life principle.'
He continues, 'Even more fundamentally, not posing those questions is itself a source of stress (author’s emphasis). First, 'positive thinking’ is based on an unconscious belief that we are not strong enough to handle reality. Allowing this fear to dominate engenders a state of childhood apprehension. Whether or not the apprehension is conscious, it is a state of stress.'" (Mate, When the Body Says NO, 244–24)

PUNS in EFT
I received this email and I wanted to use it as a
"teaching moment". Here is the email with a couple highlights:
"I wrote this today in the eye doctor’s office
waiting for an appointment to have my eyes checked again for macular
degeneration. While driving to the appointment, I was recalling Scriptures that
tell us not to be anxious and I wondered how God expected us to never worry or
be concerned. And that led to thinking about the difference between just
worrying and having a legitimate concern that I was pretty sure God did not
want me to turn a “BLIND EYE" —
(pardon the pun). I surmised that genuine concerns were legitimate but God
wanted us to give the concerns to Him and not just start worrying about them
and coming to our own conclusions. My eyes don’t show macular degeneration, but
he says I have 3 types of cataracts but they are not bad enough to have surgery
yet.
One type on my left eye distorts lines when I am looking
at them — the lines in road, the computer, tile work, etc. and we have MORE LINES IN OUR LINE OF VISION (sorry
for the pun again, it is way past my bedtime) than we really notice. My left
eye will distort the line in my vision on the left side, by bulging out an area
of a line for a nano moment. Not all the time, just sometimes, but I am
noticing it more than when it started a couple of weeks ago.
I have given the concern to God and am choosing to keep
giving my worried thought to God as well and carry them. I’m tapping away as I
pray."
Notice capitalized highlighted words she mentioned as "puns".
They look like puns, feel like puns, but they aren't true puns!
This is EXACTLY what the subconscious mind (SC) does!
When tapping pay close attention to the "wording" of what suddenly
comes to mind and out of your mouth when tapping aloud. Your mind will be
blown, as the SC loves homonyms, synonyms, rhymes, alliteration etc. It is in
that WORD ASSOCIATION that the SC gains and thrives on perceptions! Often you
GET in life EXACTLY what you SAY! You may not really mean it the way to wording
sounds, but the SC mind is extremely literal and possesses no sense of humor! This
is the power of the spoken word... God created the world by spoken word, etc.
Your SC mind creates YOUR world by the power of your spoken word (and inner
thoughts) too. Proverbs 25:11-13, Proverbs 12:18, Proverbs 16:24
When tapping pay attention to the words the Holy Spirit
gives you. Often they are specific clues as to why you believe something, or
the origin of where the beliefs comes from, or who led you to believe the
statement in the first place.
These clues will likely give you specifics as related to
your problem at hand. You then can tap on all of this new information as they
likely are limiting beliefs in your life.

Subconscious Memory and Tapping
Joe Dispenza says it better than I do, "What most people don't know is that when they think about a highly charged emotional experience, we make the brain fire in the EXACT same sequences and patterns as before; we are firing and wiring their brains to the past by reinforcing those circuits into ever more hardwired networks. We also duplicate the same chemicals in the brain and body (in varying degrees) as if we are experiencing the event again in THAT moment.
It is this unconscious (or subconscious - Freud used these words interchangeably) repetition that trains the body to remember that emotional state, equal or better than the conscious mind does. When the body IS the mind - that's called a habit.
Think about that: 5 percent of the mind is conscious (some put that number at less than 1-2%), struggling against the 95% that is running subconscious AUTOMATIC (emotional) programs. We've memorized a set of behaviors so well that we have become automatic, habitual body-mind.
So, a person may CONSCIOUSLY want to be happy, healthy or free, but the experience of hosting 20 (or 30-40) years of suffering and the repeated cycling of those (neuro)chemicals of pain and pity have subconsciously conditioned the body to be in a (negative) habitual state. We are no longer aware of what we are thinking, doing, or feeling.
And when the 5% that is conscious is going (upstream) against the 95% that is running the subconscious automatic programs, the 95% is so reflexive that it only take one STRAY thought or a single (sensory, mostly) stimulus from the environment to turn on the automatic programs AGAIN. Then we're back to the same old, same old - thinking the same (negative, toxic) thoughts, performing the same actions, but expecting something different to happen in our lives.
When we try to regain control, this is when the body signals the brain to begin talking us out of our conscious goals (self-sabotage). Our internal chatter (critical internal voice) comes up with a battery or reasons why we should not attempt to do anything out of the ordinary, not break out of the habituated state of being (go to the gym, eat less, nag less, complain less, exercise more) that we're used to. Subconscious mind will pick up all of our weaknesses, which it knows and FOSTERS, and hurl them at us one by one!
We create worst-case scenarios in our minds so that we don't have to rise above those familiar feelings. Because when we try to break the internal CHEMICAL order we have made so second nature, the body goes into chaos. Its internal badgering feels nearly irresistible - and plenty of times, we succumb."
So, what has God given us to fix this? EFT!
Remember EFT is not a substitute for your own personal physician's medical care, so take to phone/visit him as necessary before tapping.

Wall Street Journal and EFT
EFT got some billing in the Wall Street Journal a couple of days ago!
We all know most of the other techniques mentioned here work rather poorly for various reasons. They are methods touted over and over in health journals, and if they worked well, the world would be stress free!
Tapping is different - it works with the subconscious mind where the destructive, health damaging thoughts reside, not with conscious thoughts that are difficult to change.
God intentionally inserted into our bodies a method for us to heal. It can happen naturally, but stress, anxious thoughts, trauma, etc. gets in the way of that healing. This is why we use tapping. It gets to the root of the issues with the help of the Holy Spirit.
Thinking about your problems won't make or allow them to go away. Tapping just might! Learn to tap today! Like any other learning curve it needs some effort and a bit of time, but it may be one of the most important lessons you will ever learn.....and you just might be amazed how much better you will feel!
Remember, EFT is not a substitute for sound medical care, so should that need arise, contact your own personal physician.
Order your book copies today and get on God's road to His healing!

EFT is SO Effective
Hi all,
I wanted to share a little story with all you readers, as I'm hoping to show you that persistence with tapping does indeed pay off.
I have been tapping regularly and aggressively for a couple of years now, trying to clear all of my childhood emotional and verbal abuse issues. They are heavy, deep, and, until recently, pretty distressing, running my life from the subconscious level. I had no idea how much these childhood issues were driving my adult issues. It was huge!
Within the past couple of days, small events happened. I will relate one of them for you. For many of you, I suspect, you will wonder why I'm bothering to bring this up. What I need you to understand is this: small things would trigger me big time. I'd have some huge emotional blow-up over pretty much nothing.
Yesterday, accidentally, I dumped a 1/2 cup of coffee all over the floor. 4 years ago, I would have gone ballistic, calling myself all kinds of names, angry at the incident, and yelling at everyone around me. Immature behavior? You bet! Over the edge for a spill? You bet! Now, I understand where that behavior came from - that is how my Dad reacted when one of us kids spilled a glass of milk at dinner. I thought this was how everyone reacted to incidents. He went crazy about the mess! I learned the lesson so well. He called us all kinds of names, like klutz, idiot, etc. I simply took up, calling myself the same names, where he left off.
Well, low & behold, after I cleaned up the big puddle of coffee, I realized my only reaction was, "poop"! No swearing. No yelling. No calling myself names. I just cleaned it up with an "oh, well, stuff happens" attitude, like "normal" people do! Success! Those old, negative, neural pathways have been severed and new, less reactive ones, built up. Praise God! The cognitive learning has been undone! Indeed, tapping has changed my physiology!
I like this new me better. I'm more in control. Spilled coffee is not worth raising my cortisol level for 2 days! Elevated cortisol levels and blood pressure do not serve my physical needs.
God can through EFT change behaviors that I have tried all my life to change! EFT gave me the boost to accomplish what my conscious mind could not do alone! I'm so grateful to God for this precious gift, literally of life.
P.S. The friend who witnessed this incident added this comment later, "Not only did you only say "poop" or "darn"...something totally tame. The next thing you said was, 'Well, at least I got to drink the first half cup of coffee!'

A beautiful example! Great job!" Sarah
