Epigenetics and EFT

As I often do, I pulled out a copy of paragraphs of an article to comment on, but please read it in its entirety. It's not that long.

"We often do not take into account that epigenetically it has been shown that a father’s sperm literally carries the genetic residue of his traumatic experiences in addition to the life experiences of a mother who is carrying the eggs of her yet preconceived child. He references the traumatic lineage of affecting three generations with a singular traumatic event that is fascinating to really take into account."
My comment: This always amazes me as it confirms Scripture of the Exodus and Numbers references to the "sins of the fathers". Sins of the fathers isn't necessarily sins but epigenetic residues tagged ONTO DNA. DNA (gene) doesn't change, but they get tagged with a protein that marks them as important genetic information and is then passed down the generations. Some day I will take time and do a study of the OT word "sin" to see what God really meant here!
"Here are some questions from Mark’s book that you might ask yourself:
• Could you be feeling like, behaving like, suffering like, atoning for, or carrying the grief for someone who came before you?
• Do you have symptoms, feeling, or behaviors that are difficult to explain in the context of your life experience?
• Was there a trauma in the family (an early death of a parent, child, sibling or an abandonment, murder, crime, or suicide etc.), an event that was too terrible, painful or shameful to talk about?
• Could you be connected with that event, living a life similar to the person no one talks about?
• Could you be reliving this family member’s trauma as though it were your own? These kind of questions have us looking beyond our own life experiences and begin the expanded view of looking to how, for a variety of reasons, we have taken on a mission that in a sense has nothing to do with us."
My comment: When one understands emotionally that some of these questions are true in his or her life, most likely a Christian EFT Practitioner's help will be needed to dig to the bottom of the pain.
"Words act as carrier pigeons from the unconscious, fluttering forth with messages that need to be revealed, be it in metaphor or language that feels somehow estranged or belonging to another’s life experience."

My comment: I love this paragraph because METAPHORS and our OFT REPEATED comments or statements (or those of our family members) frequently give clues to what lies beneath the emotional surface. Pay attention to WHAT you say. If you have a saying you repeat over and over, tap and dig below it. Find why it is an important thing stuck in your vocabulary! And take some time this holiday season to ask older family members what life experiences they have had and what family stories they have been told. You might receive a greater gift that will expand your emotional healing than you ever imagined possible! God bless your healing!!

EFT Tapping, Epigenetics and Changing It All

Dr. Bruce Lipton is a cellular biologist who has studied mind-body information for decades.

We talk about genes being "turned on" or "turned off" because the language to explain this mechanism in clear laymen terms would take too long!

If others don't want to use EFT, then they must find a technique that clears the negative perceptions out of their mind.

Remember, EFT is not a substitute for good medical help, so contact your own personal physician when physical or emotional problems arise in your life.

Brain Signals & EFT

"The signals from our brains are communicated constantly via the matrix of energy conduction within our bodies. Every thought you think is echoing through your connective tissue communication system, turning genes on and off, producing either stress responses or healing responses."
Genie in Your Genes, Dawson Church, page 159

Our thoughts give us the ability to turn our disease genes on and off. Negative hurtful memories and thoughts turn the genes on; positive, peaceful thoughts turn genes off.

Isn't it wonderful God implanted in us this healing ability?

Tapping is a wonderful tool to assist you to neutralize and change abusive, hurtful, and damaging memories.

Epigenetics and Today's Societal Unrest

I enjoy going back to reread some of these older epigenetic articles. How much of today's unrest is rooted in past generations?
I quoted a small snippet for those who may not be familiar with epigenetics. Long, but good read, if you like the science of why we tap!
"Bygren and Pembrey proposed that epigenetic mechanisms were at work. Epigenetics, which means, literally, “above genes,” describes how genes are turned on and off by certain molecules that attach to them—called epigenetic marks. The marks essentially act like on/off switches for genes. The cells that make up your brain and your muscles all have the same DNA at their center, and yet the reason the cells lead entirely different lives involves how epigenetic marks turn on or off particular genes, giving the cells their own unique identities. That was known well prior to Bygren and Pembrey’s work. The stunning implication of the ALSPAC smoking data and the Överkalix data was that some important epigenetic marks that impact human health might not get wiped clear between generations, but might actually be passed down for multiple generations along with genes. Bygren finally published his initial Överkalix data in 2001, and he and Pembrey published their joint work in 2006, in the European Journal of Human Genetics. Meanwhile, transgenerational epigenetic inheritance was being definitively demonstrated in animals."
Please send me your thoughts about this article and how tapping can help Christians today release our emotional societal pain and allow God to be God. I'd love to hear from you!

EFT & Cellular Receptors

What if?
We have 50 to 100 trillion cells in our bodies and each cell has 50,000 to 100,000 cellular receptors on it (I can't even imagine how tiny those are!).

Many cellular receptors are monogamous, taking in only one nutrient. There are thousands of peptides, hormones, and neurotransmitters alone, let alone vitamins, minerals, and all the various micro nutrients the scientist have yet to find.

So, what happens when these cellular receptors get clogged up with emotional gunk? Nothing! They become useless, no longer functioning or taking in essential nutrients for the cell to function properly and stay healthy.

I'm a great supporter of complementary medicine, obviously, and supplements often are a part of that, but if we take a ton of a supplement, but the receptor is blocked, it won't help us at all.

I think cellular receptors are a part of why EFT works so well.

Tap, lose your emotional baggage, and then supplement your body, feeding it what it needs to get healthy again.

And then......what about the idea of transmutation? If the receptor is clogged, it has to interfere with the chemical stuff going on inside the cell.

Is this why our disease DNA get turned on? Epigenetics comes into play here and now.

I suspect this could be one of the very simplest ideas of why EFT works physiologically.
